Allen Walker est l'une des rares personnes à avoir la capacité de tuer les Akuma et de voir leur véritable âme avant qu'ils ne deviennent des monstres. Avec d'autres exorcistes de la société secrète, il entreprend d'arrêter les Akuma et de rétablir l'équilibre entre le monde des vivants et celui des morts.
