Description : Golden Boy is about a young man and vagabond named Kintaro Oe, who travels through Japan on his mountain bike to learn in the "school of life" after dropping out of law school, even though he has already successfully passed all the exams required to graduate. He takes on various jobs, including one at a software company staffed by beautiful young women with a dominant boss in a red, erotic suit. He also works as an election worker for a strong-willed politician with a beautiful, well-protected and scheming daughter. He also works in a noodle restaurant with an innocent, naive daughter who is being harassed by a con artist, and works at a swimming pool. In each of these businesses he meets beautiful girls to whom he feels attracted, and with whom he experiences various relationships of varying intensity and emotional levels. The work situation described in each case determines the framework of the plot. Although Kintaro succeeds in winning over the girls and the bosses in every episode, he never ends up in a romantic relationship or a permanent position, as they only discover their deeper passion for Kintaro when he is fired due to false assumptions.
